Corn Salad

Well... This is the last post of the week! And this week we are going to be cooking a Corn Salad. This Corn Salad is a very simple dish, although it is worth it!




Ingredients Needed:

1 Whole Corn


2 Pieces of Baby Corn


1 Chicken Breast 


1 Teaspoon Salt


1 Teaspoon Pepper


100ml of Milk


2 Stalks of Celery


2 Chopped Tomatoes


Balsamic Oil


15ml of Olive Oil


1 Stalk of Cilantro


Instructions:


1. Sous-Vide the Corn on the Cob at 90 degrees for 45 minutes with milk.(Sous vide is a cooking technique that preserves the moisture of the ingredient while cooking it.) (For people who do not have a sous vide machine a rice cooker filled with water is an able replacement.)




2.Boil the Baby Corn for 8 minutes.


3. Grill the Baby Corn for 30 Seconds each side.




4. Grill the Corn on the Cob for 5 minutes with Butter.


5. Season the Chicken Breast with Salt and Pepper. Sous-Vide the Chicken for 1 hour at 63 degrees.



6. Assemble the Corn and Chicken together.


7. Add chopped Cilantro, Chopped Tomatoes, Olive Oil and Balsamic Oil for garnish.
